Who doesn’t want their posts to go viral?

“But how the heck do I make it happen?”

This had got me stumped for MONTHS.

Been experimenting like crazy and other than an accidental one of a random question…things were dry.

But I couldn’t just keep posting questions and risk becoming a flaky NO ONE with no personality of my own.

I would rather die.

So, kept digging until I stumbled upon a post from Taylin Simmonds about how “polar opinions“ can bring sky-high engagements.

Wrote a post to try it out.

And it blew up.

1.6K impressions, 212 engagements, 34 followers. 

Yup, from a single post.

Before this, I would be up in the clouds if I even managed to scrape even 500 impressions. 

Why does this work?

Imagine this...

You're driving a car and suddenly notice a commotion. Won't you be tempted to check out?

Or you see a guy wearing a suit and a skirt. Won't you bob your head and be like, "Wait, what?" 

We humans are naturally attracted to anyone and anything that challenges the norms. 

(Look at any public hero, you'll know)

So I put together a simple controversial template so you can make your posts go viral (and convert the casual audience into dedicated followers)

Viral Post template ( Controversy Edition)

• 1st line : Hook, a polar statement 

• 2nd line : Build up on the suspense 

• Body : Justify your point (can't just claim apples are blue and be done with that)

• CTA : What was the goal of your post?

• Ending : Make it stickier than the gum under your high-school bench (this is the part readers remember most)
