Turn your profile views into conversions...

Nope, I am not kidding.

Hi, how're you all doing?

I am having a gloomy, rainy day here so thought I would brighten the day by writing to you.

And I just thought of the perfect topic to brighten your day too!

Did you know?

Your profile views can earn you money?

Yup, people literally coming to your doorsteps to pay you...

Without you even lifting your little finger.

But hey, like all good things...

There's a catch.

Your profile needs to "optimized".

What the heck do I mean?

Here....

1) Your profile picture

Imagine this...

A creepy looking guy comes over to you and promises you to increase your business profits.

What will you do?

Open your wallet and spill your debit cards?

Or pick up your skirt and run to the nearest police station?

Your profile picture has the same impact.

It can either brand you as a creep or a smart professional.

Take a clear headshot

  • Hire a professional or use a good camera

  • if you suck at editing (like me), use an AI editor

  • Keep an expression which best describes your personality

  • keep your clothing formal (Ditch those pajamas)

And for God's sake, don't think of using a logo. Talking from personal experience that it will backfire...BIG time.

2) The bio

Trust me, this is the most important part of your profile. Specially the first 45 characters.

This is what shows again and again whenever you comment or you somehow come in front of people.

This is what prompts people to "click" on your profile.

Ti's is the turning point.

I tried both ways.

  1. A clever first line and then explaining what I do.

  2. Leading with what I do and ending with a witty remark.

Honestly, I'll recommend the latter.

Why? Doesn't the 1st one make you instantly stand out?

Yeah, if your 1st priority is followers.

But not if its getting leads and clients.

Which profile will someone searching for a ghostwriter click first?

  • I ghostwrite for female founders

  • I write words that sell tea to coffee-lovers

Now, the second one is an extremely witty one, but it doesn’t make it obvious what you do. And you don’t wanna make it hard for your leads to find you.

So structure it like this.

[What you do, who is it for, what's the guarantee], a personal trait to make you stand out.

(Everything following this is only relevant for LinkedIn users)

 3) About section

Best advice I can give you...

Treat it as a sales landing page for your MAIN offer.

Include

  • what problem you solve

  • why is that a problem

  • how you solve it

  • who you solve it for

  • cta on how they should contact you

Be as creative you can in here.

But be absolutely crystal clear on your offer and EXACTLY HOW you will help them.

Honestly my favorite part.

I really wish X had it too.

This is where you link ALL your offers, testimonials, freebies.

Things you can include are

  • calendly links for free/paid calls

  • freebies to collect emails

  • High ticket offers

  • low ticket offers

  • Your portfolio

  • testimonials

Etc...

And that's where you have those conversions.

That’s where your profile viewers BUY

Summary

  • A good pfp and bio gets the profile views.

  • A great about section and featured section earns you money

Now I am aware there are more parts to a good profile but this email is getting looooong.

If you want a part 2...

Reply to this email.

And I shall oblige.

Did this help you even a teeny bit?

Then do me a HUGE favor and share this link with your friends who might need it.

That’s it for today!

See ya next email.

Until then,

Take care, stay safe and drink lots of water.

Love,

Khadija
