Ok, so what kind of posts DO you think brings the most revenue?
It's story posts!
Um, I know that was kinda anticlimactic and almost EVERYONE says the same exact thing...
But please don't roll your eyes, sigh and leave.
There is a reason so many people preach this.
See that inbound?
She is a client now.
One of the best ones you can dream of.
And you know how she found me?
Through a story post about me almost blowing up my house ๐
She dropped a comment
We hit of in the DMs
Hopped on a call
And when she needed someone for her account, guess who she thought about ๐
So being stubbornly blind to the potential of story posts ...
Is kinda foolish.
Which you most definitely are NOT, right?
How to structure story posts the right way?
OK, screw me. There is no ONE right way.
But there are more effective ways.
Ones that are proven to work.
Here's one that I always use.
(So does many of the creators you admire)
Hook: Start with the climax
What the heck? Isn't that supposed to be later? In a traditional book where you have forever to build up the hype, yes.
But on a social media post where you have less than 0.3 seconds before they scroll away?
Nope. Here you gotta "hook" them right away. And what better way if not the climax itself?

Rehook: Build on the climax here
Here go ahead and elaborate a bit on the climax. Or even better, just increase the intrigue element.
But be careful to not give away too much. You still wanna keep your readers hungry for more.

Body: Now, start from the beginning
What happened?
Why it happened?
How did it happen?
Then relate it to a problem your ICP is facing.
End with a solution/lesson for them.
Because at the end of the day...
We are incredibly selfish creatures.
No one really cares about your story if there isn't something in it for them.
Would you really be reading this otherwise?
Exactly.
CTA: Every post of yours should have one.
This is where you guide your readers to the next step.
It can be as simple as
going to the comments
dropping a follow
hitting the bell
Or as clever as
giving a free lead magnet
subscribing to your newsletter
selling your new course/product
The possibilities are endless.
It's all yours to discover and unlock.
