Darwinian Theory: Survival of the Fittest

How fast are you adapting?

The world is changing. And it's changing FAST.

TikTokers and YouTubers are the new celebrities.

Copywriters and Software developers are the new millionaires.

Content Creators are the new rulers. Their Personal Brands the empire.

Amid all these humungous changes, how are YOU adapting?

Honestly, for me, it was challenging.

I am a complete NOOB with computers.

I remember my 10th-grade computer teacher nicknaming me ‘Bad Luck”, and for damn good reason. Each and every computer I touched would either have a sudden mouse, keyboard, monitor, or CPU disability. Sometimes it would go straight into a coma.

Swap me with someone else and it would work JUST FINE.

40 computers in a lab, and NOT ONE worked properly for me.

Must be some ancient, mutual rivalry between our ancestors 🤔 Can’t think of any other logical reason.

Anyways, this meant I somehow managed to pass O’level ICT, but working full time on this witchcraft was a nightmare.

But it was either I finally faced my opponent with a red cloth or got left coughing up dust as the world raced past.

I knew in my bones that these were the only 2 options.

I chose the first.

But in MY way.

Combined it with writing, my secret passion, and started writing online. BEST. DECISION. EVER.

But wait, how did you pick your niche?

Simple. Elimination and selection method.

Started by opening a website and writing about literally EVERYTHING. From science, food recipes, baking, self-improvement, and anime…to any niche that possibly exists. I know, I am a truly versatile person **hair flips**

(Definitely not a major league procrastinator, nope)

Writing all these, putting all my said interests on paper, made me realize something important.

There are things I thought I liked but actually don’t.

And there are things I didn’t give much thought to, but actually enjoy them.

If you are anything like me, and multiple choices make your head spin, then this is your best bet.

Try everything. (OK, now this song will be stuck in my head for the rest of the day. “Try everything! Oh oh oh oh”…heard this? Zootopia…Shakira…)

Ok, as I was saying. What was I saying? Ah right.

That’s how I finally settled on copywriting, the craft where you hook random strangers and change their minds, just with words. It's not just writing. It's the fine art of

  • Observing people

  • Analyzing their unique psychologies

  • Hand-crafting a delicate piece, especially for your target audience

  • Leaving a lasting impact on your readers

  • Convincing them you’re worth it

  • Finally, closing the deal

And this is the crucial part where I want you to pay attention. You there? Ok.

You NEED copywriting literally everywhere. It's the ONE must-learn high-income skill that can earn you 6-7 figures on its own (Ghostwriting for example) AND that happens to be a requirement to wing many other jobs.

Especially if you are building a personal brand. You need it to promote your service AND sell it.

And I HIGHLY, and I mean HIGHLY recommend building a Personal Brand.

It's your unique identity, highlighting what you are best at and earning you a decent amount of money.

The equivalent of a new-era college degree.

No, I am serious.

This professor in my Uni started his class one day by saying, “My son got a high-income job recently. No, not because he was top of his engineering course, but because he has a YouTube channel. So kids, don’t just study, start building something as well.”

So, after you are done reading this,

I want you to put on your serious spectacles and give PERSONAL BRAND a solid try.

  • Take a look at the creators as young as 17, earning 6-7 figures to get a surge of motivation. If they can, so can I. Cuz trust me, you have SO MUCH hidden potential.

  • Then sit down, and write a list of all the things you enjoy, and try exploring them all. Whichever feels wrong, cross it out.

  • Once something clicks in, see if it comes naturally to you but not to everyone else. You can ask your friends and family around for this.

  • If it is, check if this skill is something you can teach or build products/services.

  1. Money

  2. Self-improvement

  3. Health (mentally/physically)

  • People pay hands and legs to achieve these. So anything along these lines is PROFITABLE.

If you answered a YES for all of these, then congrats.

You have successfully found THE niche and no longer have to be in the group of

  • Where do I start?

  • What do I even write about?

  • What the living hell is this all about?

In the upcoming emails, we will dive deeper into this and how copywriting plays such an integral role in the success of your brand.

So stay tuned.

Until then,

Take care, drink a bunch of water, and have fun.

Lots of love,

Khadija
